4.3.2.4. SSL connection in ISPmanager 4

To install an SSL certificate in ISPmanager 4, do the following:

  1. Allow the created user to access SSL certificates:
    1. Log in as root.
    2. In chapter "Users select the user under which the site is hosted and click "Edit».
    3. In the window that opens, on the "Rights"Check the box next to"SSL”And save your changes.
  2. Log in as the user who was granted access to the certificates.
  3. Open the section "World Wide Web → SSLcertificates».
  4. Add the certificate:
    1. Click "Create a "- a window for adding a certificate will appear:
    2. Fill in the fields:
      1. «Certificate name"- specify an arbitrary name (for convenience, you can specify the name of the site for which the certificate is intended).
      2. «Certificate type"- select"existing».
      3. «Use key"- select"specify manually».
      4. «Private key"- insert the contents of the Private key.
      5. «Certificate "- paste the contents of the file name_site.crtprovided by the certificate provider.
      6. «Password»- fill in only if you set a password for the private key before creating the certificate.
      7. «Certificate chain"- insert the content of additional chains (usually this is a file with the extension .ca-bundle). If there are several chains, the order of their installation should be checked with the certificate provider.
  5. Include the certificate for the required domain. To do this, in the section "WWWdomains"Select the required domain, click the button"Edit", Enable the option"SSL»And select the required certificate from the list:If the domain has not been added yet, click “Create a "And when adding a domain, enable the"SSL».

After all actions, the status of the certificate should change to "Installed":
