Updating the Open Graph cache in social networks and messengers

When you send a link to a social network or messenger, data is automatically read for it Open Graph and a page preview is generated. This preview is stored in the cache of the corresponding service. When the page data changes, the old preview may remain in the cache. Here are the ways to manually update it.

To refresh the Facebook Open Graph cache, do the following:

  1. Open the page "Repost debugger».
  2. Enter the link for which you want to update the cache and click "Debugging».
  3. Opposite "Scraping time»Click«Repeat scraping».

To update the Open Graph cache in Telegram, do the following:

  1. Start the bot @WebpageBot.
  2. Send the bot a link for which you want to update the cache (you can send up to 10 links at a time).
