2.9.2.3. The specified key is not valid for the certificate

When installing a certificate an error may occur The specified key is not valid for the certificate.

To fix the situation, try the following:

  1. Open the certificate and private key files in any text editor.
  2. Check for blank lines between lines starting with -----BEGIN and -----END, and strings containing the certificate and key data. If blank lines are present, remove them and save your changes.
  3. Try installing the certificate again.

If there are no blank lines in the files, but the error still occurs, contact the certificate provider for possible causes of the problem.
