Make sure the database you are importing is a SQL file. If the file is zipped, unzip it.
Make sure the file size is less than 300 MB. If the size is larger, use one of the methods to import databases of any size presented here.
Make sure there are no queries in the imported database like CREATE DATABASE1)... If there are such requests, the lines with them must be removed from the file using any text editor (for example, Notepad++).
If the database to be imported into has not yet been created in the control panel, create it.
Make sure there are no characters in the database user password #... If there are any, change password for a password without these characters.
To import a database, do the following:
Open the section "Hosting " and press "Database import»:Or open the section "Database"And in the database menu press"Import database»:
Fill out the form and click "Import»:
«Select file (s)"- select the file with the database dump.
«Access login and database name»- select database, into which you want to import the dump, and its name user.
«Dump encoding"- leave"Do not specify encoding when importing»Or select the required encoding from the list.
«Continue importing data if an error occurs"- leave a check mark if you want the import not to stop in case of any errors.
«Clear database content before import»- leave the checkbox checked if the dump is to be imported into the cleaned database (all existing data will be deleted from the selected database).
