2.7.2.2.3. Killing processes with HeidiSQL

Each database connection starts in a separate process (thread). The process can be forcibly terminated using the command KILL.

To force the process to end, do the following:

  1. Connect to the database using HeidiSQL.
  2. Open the "Host» («Host") And on it the tab"Processes» («Processes»):
  3. Update information by clicking F5 or the button "Refresh» («Refresh»):
  4. Select the process to end and click Del or right-click on it and select “Kill Process(es)…» («Kill process (s)…»):
  5. Confirm the operation by clicking "OK».
