2.24.2.14. Configuring the Yandex.Mail mail collector

To connect the Yandex.Mail mail collector to mailbox do the following:

1. In the main Yandex.Mail window, click on the button with the gear and select “Collecting mail from other mailboxes»:
2. Fill out the form and click "Include collector»:
   • Mail in another service:
     • «Mail"- specify name mailbox.
     • «Password"- specify password mailbox.
   • The parameters of your mail server (the block appears after filling in the field “Mail"In the block above):
     • «Protocol"- select"POP».
     • «Login"- specify name mailbox.
     • «Server"- specify mail.adm.tools.
     • «Port"- make sure that 995.
     • «Use SSL encryption protocol"- the checkbox must be checked for messages to be downloaded via an encrypted connection.
     • «Save originals of letters in the mailbox"- the checkbox must be checked so that messages are not deleted from the server after they are uploaded to Yandex.Mail.
3. If necessary, specify additional settings and click "Save changes"(You will need to re-enter the name and password of the mailbox):
   • «assign a label to processed emails"- if you want to mark collected messages with a tag, check the box and select the desired tag.
   • «put letters in a folder"- select the folder where the collected messages should go.
4. Check the mail collector is working. The collector connects to the box about once every 20 minutes.
