2.24.2.4.1.1. The "Unknown CA certificate" error in The Bat!

Error "Unknown CA certificate"Is usually associated with the lack of the required root certificate in The Bat! when using a secure connection. You can fix the situation by switching to using the Windows certificate store.

Note

Alternatively, instead of switching storage, you can import the missing one yourself root certificate in The Bat! and add it to the trusted list.

To switch the certificate store, do the following:

  1. In the main window of The Bat! click "Properties"And select"S / MIME and TLS…»:
  2. Set the radio button next to "Microsoft CryptoAPI" and press "OK»:
  3. Restart The Bat! and check for the problem.
