General settings

Settings are the same for both incoming and outgoing mail

Incoming mail

Setting options for incoming mail

POP3 995 SSL/TLS Allows only to receive incoming mail from the server via a secure connection, sent and other messages are not synchronized

Outgoing mail

Setting options for outgoing mail

To connect the mail client Opera Mail to mailbox, do the following:

  1. Open the application menu and click “Mailboxes…»:
  2. Click "Add to…»:
  3. Select "Email" and press "Further»:
  4. Fill in the fields and click "Further»:
    • «Full name»- enter your name in any form.
    • «Email address mail"- specify name mailbox.
    • «Organization»- enter the name of your organization in any form (optional).
  5. Enter the mailbox details, select the protocol and click "Further»:
    • «Username"- specify name mailbox.
    • «Password"- specify password mailbox.
    • «Select the type of mail account"- set the switch opposite to"IMAP».
  6. Specify the server address, configure security and click "Complete»:
    • «Incoming mail server"And"Outgoing mail server"- specify mail.adm.tools.
    • «Secure connection (TLS)"- check the boxes for incoming and outgoing mail.
  7. Open the application menu and click “Mailboxes…»:
  8. Select the added account and click "Edit…»:
  9. Switch to the "Server", Change the ports and click"OK»:
    • Incoming IMAP mail server:
      • «Server"- make sure that mail.adm.tools.
      • «Port number"- specify 993.
      • «Secure (TLS)"- make sure the checkbox is checked.
      • «Authentication"- make sure"Auto».
      • «Username"- make sure that the complete name mailbox.
    • Outgoing SMTP mail server:
      • «Server"- make sure that mail.adm.tools.
      • «Port number"- specify 465.
      • «Secure (TLS)"- make sure the checkbox is checked.
      • «Authentication"- make sure"Auto».
      • «Username"- make sure that the complete name mailbox.
  10. Check mail is working.
