2.24.2.5.2. Checking Incoming and Outgoing Mail Settings in Gmail (Android / iOS)

The instructions show screenshots taken on Android. The process for setting up an application on iOS is similar.

If you have problems receiving and / or sending mail to Gmail, you need to check the correctness of the settings for incoming and outgoing mail:

  1. Open the application menu by swiping to the right or by pressing the menu button:
  2. At the bottom of the menu, click “Settings»:
  3. Select the previously added email account:
  4. In the settings, click “Incoming mail server»:
  5. Make sure to include the following information:
    • «Username» — full title mailbox.
    • «Password» — password from the mailbox.
    • «Server» — mail.adm.tools.
    • «Port» — 993.
    • «Security type» — SSL/TLS.
  6. In the settings, click “Outgoing mail server»:
  7. Make sure to include the following information:
    • «Username» — full title mailbox.
    • «Password» — password from the mailbox.
    • «SMTP server» — mail.adm.tools.
    • «Port» — 465.
    • «Security type» — SSL/TLS.
  8. Check the operation of the connected mailbox.
