2.4.6. FTP access to backups

Note

The described methods are only suitable for gaining access to files and directories. You will not be able to access the contents of the database in this way.

The article describes the procedure for obtaining direct access by FTP to automatic backups, which contain files and directories of the hosting account. Thus, you can extract individual files and directories from the copy without the need creation and downloads archive with a backup.

Using the file manager
Using an FTP client

To access the contents of an automatic backup using a file manager, use any of the following methods:

IN filemanager change the connection source to "Backup»:
In section "My sites"In the site menu, click"Site backups»:
In section "Backup »Opposite the required date, click on the button with the folder image:

To access the contents of an automatic backup using FTPclient:

Open the section "Backup ».
In the block "Access to backups by FTP»Click«Enable access by FTP»:
Copy the appeared connection settings (server address, username and password):
Use the received data to connect with FTP-client. Standard port - 21.
