2.1.9. Delegating access to a hosting account

Delegation - provision of temporary access to a service. After a service is delegated to another hosting user, it is simultaneously displayed in several control panels - in the panel of its owner and in the panel of those who have been granted access.

Important points:

Opportunity renewals, tariff changes, transfer of rights, ordering additional services, refusal of service and delegation available only to the owner hosting account. A user who has been granted temporary access cannot perform these operations.
The user who needs to be granted temporary access must be registered on our website.
Delegation is automatically disabled after transfer of rights to a hosting account. If necessary, it will need to be turned on again.
Through delegation, access is provided to all contents of the hosting account. If you need to provide access only to the directory of a specific site, use instruction.
A service can be delegated not only by its owner, but also by the one who was granted access through delegation.

Attention!

You are solely responsible for all actions that may be performed by a third party with the contents of the hosting account to which you provide access.

To grant temporary access to one of your hosting accounts, do the following:

Findout account mail the user to whom you want to grant access.
Open the section "Access delegation ».
Fill out the form and click "Grant access»:
- «Service"- set the switch opposite to"Hosting account ».
- «Hosting account »- select a hosting account to which you want to provide access.
- «User e-mail"- specify account mail the user to whom you want to grant access.
- «provide access to account mailboxes"- check whether you want to provide access to mailboxes delegated hosting account (access to mail can be tune later at any time).

To configure email access for a delegated hosting account, do the following:

Open the section "Access delegation ».
In the block "You have granted access"Check or uncheck the box in the column"Access to mailboxes»:

To disable delegation, do the following:

Open the section "Access delegation ».
In the block "You have granted access"Click the revoke access button in the column"Cancel granting access»:

To refuse temporary access, do the following:

Switch to the correct hosting account (if there is only one hosting account, it will be selected by default).
