3.6.19. Domain connection to GetCourse

There are several ways to connect a domain to GetCourse:

This method of connecting a domain to the GetCourse service makes it possible to use mailing from a personal domain, providing a higher probability of their correct delivery without getting into spam, but without the ability to access content posted on the service by domain name. This is useful if the domain name is in use or if you plan to use it for an existing site.

To configure the required records you need:

  1. Sign in to your account GetCourse.
  2. Go to the section "Profile → Account settings»:

  4. Enter the desired domain name and click "Add to»:
  5. Choose a method "On your NS server" and press "Save»:
  6. Customize your domain name by adding two records TXT:
    • Add SPF record with data:
      • «Subdomain "- if a subdomain was added, then indicate its name in this field, if the service is planned to be used for the main domain - indicate the symbol @.
      • «A type"- select"TXT».
      • «Data"- specify v=spf1 include:getcourse.ru.
If sending letters will also be made from our servers, then use a record like v=spf1 include:getcourse.ru include:_spf.ukraine.com.ua ~all or make a correct entry for your case.
    • Wait for the update DNS cache... This usually takes several hours (maximum 72). When performing further actions, an error may occur that the added SPF record is missing.
  7. Go to the "Mail", Select the second option for outgoing mail, specify the desired mailbox name and select the required domain (if several domains were connected), then click"Save changes»:
