3.2.3. .RU and .SU domain registration

The regulation of domains in .RU and .SU zones differs from other zones in that for domain registration it is necessary to provide passport data or data and state registration.


Any passport is suitable for registration, not necessarily Russian.

The speed of domain registration depends on the correctness and completeness of the data provided. If the data you provided is incomplete or fictitious, the domain registration application will not be submitted. After reviewing it, you will be asked to fill in the contact details of the domain administrator.

  1. Choose a suitable domain name on domain registration page, place an order and pay for the written score.
  2. After payment fill in questionnaire... When filling out the questionnaire, the following points should be taken into account:
    • Data must be filled in exclusively in Russian.
    • Country of issue of the passport (series and number) for individuals / TIN number for legal entities and country of residence / company registration (postal address) must necessarily match... For example, if you indicate the series and number of the Ukrainian passport, then in the mailing address you must also indicate the place of residence in Ukraine.
  3. Within one business day, you will receive a notification on account mail regarding domain name registration.
