3.7.2. ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

Error "ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED"Occurs in Chromium-based browsers and indicates a problem in obtaining an IP address from DNS server, thereby displaying the problem of address availability.

This error occurs in different cases:

  • Mostly due to the lack of records that could direct the domain name to a specific IP address (for example, A, AAAA, CNAME, ALIAS).
  • Due to unavailability DNS- the server that the device accesses when switching to a specific domain.

To solve the problem, you should use the instructions regarding DNS errors, try flush DNS cache, use another browser (in some cases, the browser may have additional settings DNS), disconnect from the VPNs and proxy services in use, or contact your internet service provider.
