Login to WebMail without password

Having listened to the opinion of customers, we added an authorization server for IMAP, POP3 and SMTP, and now it supports authorization by tokens. This makes it possible to log into WebMail from the control panel again without entering a password. Passwords are also NOT stored in clear text (and will not be). Also, thanks to this, it turned out to return the function of displaying the number of incoming and new letters in mailboxes. More than 2,000 clients have used this functionality in a day since the launch.

In the future, authorization by tokens will be available only for those mailboxes for which the password was changed through the hosting control panel. Logging into mailboxes for which the password has been changed via WebMail will not work. This will help protect mailboxes whose content should not be viewed by the hosting account owner. If it is customary for the company's corporate rules to read the correspondence, then it is possible to restrict access to changing the password via WebMail. This can be done in the mail domain settings in the "Mailboxes → Domain settings" section by checking the box next to "Prevent users from changing their password from mail".

Это круто! Спасибо! Реально удобно, предыдущая версия входа в ящики как-то не удобная была.

Спасибо, что прислушались. Наверное много было жалоб, в т.ч. и моя по которой первоначально было решение отрицательным))

Свое неудобство решил перенаправлением всех писем на 1 ящик. Но ваша доработка не исключает дальнейшего использования на других учетках.

Пароли к БД.. тоже отстанется возможность входить по токенах?

Вход в MySQL тоже будет по токенам, но в MySQL есть проблема с DEFINER, когда один пользователь создает VIEW или триггер, то другой пользователь не может его отредактировать или удалить. Пока не знаем как решить данную проблему.
