The robot artist Scribit has come to our company. Official site of the device - https://scribit.design/.
This robot artist is a kind of printer for vertical surfaces. With its use, such a surface turns into a virtual board, where you can display various information. Any marker or plastic board, glass or plastered wall can act as a surface.
Externally, the robot is a flat cylinder made of aluminum with holes in the center for placing markers. On the sides there are reels with cords - for them the robot is suspended from the wall and uses them to move.
The image is applied using replaceable markers. You can use up to four colors at the same time. The set comes with a set of 24 markers in different shades. Any other markers of the same diameter will work instead of the original ones. By warming up the ink during application, all lines are uniform, and the drawing is bright and saturated.
The maximum size of a drawing is 2.5 × 2.5 m. The drawing process takes very little time - from several minutes to half an hour.
The robot has great potential and the applications are limited only by imagination:
The robot can not only draw, but also erase the previously drawn image. Both can be performed an unlimited number of times.
The robot is controlled via Wi-Fi via a special mobile application. It only takes a few minutes to set up. To install the robot, only two nails are enough, for which the robot will be suspended near the surface, and a socket.
